Make the highlight reel, skip the injury report.
We’re not a radar gun and a showcase. We assess and build the physical qualities that drive velocity, exit velo, and game speed, and we train year round so your player keeps developing and stays off the injury list.

Your player won’t throw or swing in here, and that’s the point.
We look underneath the game, at the qualities that actually produce the numbers and the ones that keep a player healthy. Here’s what we assess.
Balance & Proprioception
Body control and where it is in space.
Mobility & Stability
Room to move, and control through it.
Strength & Endurance
Force, and the staying power to repeat it.
Power
The explosiveness behind velo and first step.
Movement Quality
How clean and efficient the movement is.
Potential Injury Risk
The compensations that lead to breakdown.
The engine behind the numbers
Velo, exit velo, and a quick first step don’t come from a radar gun. They come from power, clean movement, and a body that can handle the load. Build those and the numbers have somewhere to come from. Leave them alone and that’s where injuries live. We also train acceleration and change of direction, the speed that shows up between the bases and in the field, not just a straight line time.

Year round leagues, year round training
Baseball and softball run close to all year now, so the training has to keep up. It just shouldn’t look the same in January as it does in June. We match the work to the season.
Build the base
Add strength and power, and clean up the weak links that lead to injury.
Sharpen it
Turn that base into game ready power and prep the body for the load ahead.
Protect it
Maintain strength, manage workload against what’s happening on the field, and keep your player healthy through the season.
How it starts
The free consult
The same free first step as everyone, plus several sport specific assessments a general screening doesn’t include.
A year round plan
Built to develop your athlete and protect them, changing shape with the season.
See it on paper
We measure the qualities again, so progress and durability aren’t a guess.
Diamond Ready is led by Alex Cain, an all state shortstop whose own playing days were cut short by injuries that never had to happen. That’s the whole reason he got into training: to spare as many throwers as he can from going through what he did.
